Jan 21, 2014- CHANGE OF TIME & LOCATION


All dens are going on a field trip for next week's Scout meeting to the Loma Linda Hospital to finish up our work on the Nutrition Belt Loop and pin.  WE ARE CHANGING THE MEETING TIME AND PLACE FOR THIS WEEK BECAUSE OF THIS OUTING to Tuesday, January 21st 3:30-5:00, meeting and picking up at Misty Potter's house (216 Primrose).

Any parents who would like to come along and drive themselves are welcome!  Here are some follow-up reminders from last weeks activity of what each group needs to do at home:

Wolf Scouts:
8b. Plan the meals you and your family should have for one day. List things your family should have from the food groups shown in the Food Group Pyramid. At each meal, you should have foods from at least three food groups.
8c. Help fix one meal for your family. Help set the table, cook the food, & wash the dishes.
8d. Fix your own breakfast. Wash and put away the dishes.

Bear Scouts:

          9c. Prepare one part of your breakfast, one part of your lunch, & one part of dinner.


Webelos (for Fitness pin):
  1. With a parent or other family member, plan a week of meals. Explain what kinds of meals are best for you and why.
  2. Keep a record of your daily meals and snacks for a week. Decide whether you have been eating foods that are good for you.


You can either report back to your leader next week, or just go onto www.scouttrack.com and check it off when completed.  For anyone who missed last week and wants to catch up, we worked on Nutrition BL #1-2 and Nutrition pin #1-3.
