November Pack Meeting Canceled

Hello Cub Scout Families,

We have canceled this months pack meeting. We were planning an Arrow Of Light ceremony but there was a conflict with schedules.

~ Bear Pack - note from Brother Zollinger

The boys need to carve one more item in order to complete the required Bear Claw Adventure.  The book states that they should carve one item from soap and one item from wood.  The boys started the soap carving last week.

***Brother Zollinger is willing to have a den meeting in place of the pack meeting tomorrow but we need to know who is interested.  Please contact one of us as soon as possible, Mark or Misty.

One more item to remember.  Next month the Bear Pack will be working on Tool Safety.  Your son can get a head start by going to one of the Lowe's / Home Depot workshops that are offered on Saturday mornings.

Pack Meeting Cancelled

Our pack meeting has been cancelled!
~BUT we will be testing the catapult from 6:00 to 6:30 pm Tuesday night if you would like to join us.

Don't Forget the Catapult Campaign this Wednesday, Oct. 28th from 3:45 to 5:15 at Brookside Park.  The boys will be using the catapult that we tried to build last Wednesday.  They will also be making their own mini catapults and decorating cookies!

Your boys are welcome to build a shield to protect them from the water balloon attack!  They can use simple items from home, ie. cardboard, duct tape, plastic lid, anything they can think of.  Just make sure they can't hurt someone with it : )

Redlands Helping Hands Community Day of Service

Please bring your cub scout and your family.  This is an easy opportunity for scouts to participate in a service project in their community.  Each rank in cub scouts encourages community service.  Hope to see you there!

Last year, volunteers donated thousands of hours making significant improvements throughout Redlands community. Sod was laid at Heritage Park, Redlands Blvd. was mulched and weeded, and Israel Beal Park was upgraded and beautified. Families, businesses, churches, schools, service clubs and other community organizations worked side-by-side making a positive difference through service.

Citizens have the opportunity once again to work on multiple projects in and around the City of Redlands. These projects are perfect for families of all ages. A free lunch will follow for all who participate. Sign up to serve at one of the following locations:
  1. Hillside Cemetery
  2. Community Baseball Fields
  3. Heritage Park
